• Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Many people ask "does getting a tattoo hurt" and the answer is not really, but it does depend on the location of the tattoo. Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others due to nerve ends in your skin. It is a myth that being skinny or fat, or having a tattoo on a bony area, somehow affects what you feel when you receive a tattoo. Your body is unique. You and your friend could get a tattoo in the same place on your bodies, but one of you will feel more sensitive than the other.
